About the Position:

We at North Peak Inc. are looking for qualified Laborers to assist the Project Superintendent in completing a variety of tasks, including but not limited to demolition, framing, and miscellaneous item installation.

Your job will entail working in diverse settings from new construction to remodel projects.

A laborer is an individual with great hand dexterity and an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will also have a
good knowledge of reading blueprints. Working with little supervision to complete assigned tasks while following all health and safety standards is essential.
The goal is to contribute to the North Peak team and build strong and long-lasting relationships with coworkers
and sub-contractors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Follow Direction and compete tasks as outlined by Forman, Superintendent, and/or Project Manager
● Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, forklifts, skid loaders and other tools as
directed by management.
● Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing, and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and other miscellaneous tasks as directed by supervisor
● Shovel materials to and from construction areas, including asphalt and dirt.
● Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.
● Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site daily.
● Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.
● Report incidents immediately to safety director, foreman or HR in accordance with incident reporting procedures established by the company.
● Travel out of town to work on remote job sites as directed by management.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

● High school diploma or GED
● Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
● Ability to Travel out of town during the week
● Good physical condition and endurance
● Ability to lift 50 lbs.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

● Hands-on experience in working in construction
● Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
● Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers,
tape measures etc.)
● Ability to read technical documents and blueprints (2 years)
● Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is a plus


WORK SCHEDULE

● Full-time
● 8 Hour Shift


BENEFITS

● 401K Retirement Plans
● $16.00 – $20.00 per hour depending on experience.
